I always have someone on hunter duty, at least one villager. Plus, I had a medicine hut completed when almost everyone had the illness, but once that first villagers died, a moment later my entire update box was filled with updates of death. ![]() Could they have not eaten because of a disease? I notice that the three left were healthy. My food resources were low, but not empty when the first villager died of starvation. My people were even dying when the food was low. Ofc kids gonna die, because they can't walk for first few years till they become teenagers. If you kick somebody out from a house and you make sure you have 1 open slot, he will just relocate to other house. Hypothermia and starvation caused diseases do not need hospital to heal your people only herbs in storage. If you have enough hunters around your town you never get rabies because all wild animals will be killed. RIP poor people Plus if you don't use mods that change heavy disease, they are locked behind time wall of 20 seasons. My healer shop was not complete, but since a teenager finally-finally became an adult I allocated her to be a builder hoping that slowly she will build the healer shop in case another illness strike when my population was this low. I can't stop their baby making, so to stop it I put two of the small houses on upgrade mode. Because I have so much housing, the three adults were popping babies left and right without consideration of their food availability. This left me with many houses, like a good three small houses and a giant one. So, yea-instead of dying from illness they died from starvation. I was too focused on trying to build a healer's shop and neglect the food collection. When a citizen gets hungry during work and they are closer to a kitchen/tavern that is serving food than they are to their home, or if their home is all out of food, they will visit the kitchen / tavern instead and EAT THERE.I had this unfortunate event that led my population of 24 down to three!! A lot of my villagers were falling ill. When this option is active, kitchen and taverns (as well as other mod buildings that work like taverns and produce food) will work as eateries. *Optional: ATTENTION - EXPERIMENTAL MODE - Eating at kitchens and taverns * Other mod buildings that have cooking recipes available while this mod is active:įor that to work, the respective mod must be listed BELOW this mod in the modifictaions list (load order) This increases the maximum workers in the tavern, too.
